Dave Richey's experience in the construction industry began in 1975. Mr. Richey is a past member of numerous Engineering and Architectural associations, such as NACE (Natl. Assoc. Corrosion Eng.), ASTM (American Standards Testing Materials), and CSI (Construction Specification Inst.), Dave put this experience to work as a consultant to major commercial companies and manufactures of powder coating, waterproofing, roofing and building envelope.

Over his tenure in the construction industry the passion of proper product selection became a life's work, culminating in the establishment of Duradek West in 1995 as the
Distributor in solid surface flooring (waterproofing) and railing/fencing. Dave is a Certified Trainer for the Duradek system and has authorized installers and dealers through out California. Quality and Service (almost a trite saying) are focused areas which are the basis of our Company's philosophy.

Duradek / Durarail Systems Inc. and Duradek West (DRichey Enterprises), has been serving the industry since 1985. We have chosen materials based on a philosophy of providing products that will serve our customers over the long term, absolutely considered low maintenance. We're concerned about the rising cost of residual maintenance of low cost product which require costly service over the life of the materials. Our systems can be considered as "Green" since they do not experience the constant dollar load of other materials requiring recoating, painting and such.
